This is a Sylvia Naterrer "Fanouche and Her Friends Collection" Rare doll by Gotz.  I've only seen a couple of them and in person they are a true delight.  She has a vinyl head and breastplate plus vinyl arms up to a certain point as well as the legs in vinyl up to a certain point so that the rest of the body is cloth and stuffed and allows movement.  She is a sitting position doll, with very long legs for posing.  This outfit, I am not sure if it is original since I couldn't find this exact doll anywhere, but it looks typical for Gotz and fits her appropriately so I assume it is.  She has a grey taffeta hat that matches her grey taffeta striped underdress and then an oversized grey/black sweater that buttons with one button at the top.  She then has black and white leopard thigh highs that go up her legs and black boots.  The shoes are very high quality with real laces and she looks like a little fashion diva.  Her hair is wavy and is meant to look very rustic and natural.  She's been wearing her hat for some time so her wavy bangs underneath are a bit smashed but depending on how she is displayed (with hat or without hat) a small combing for display is easily done.  Her head does have movement and she has a nice face, passing for 8-12 and possibly a teen depending on how you look at it.
 
She is sitting, but when you lay her down she measures 26" from head to toe, though it's hard to get an exact measurement because she has bent knees in her molding and a seated position.  She looks nice and relaxed on a shelf or in a chair and her arms can be posed like in the photo on her knee or by her side.  She's fun to look at, and we are sure that she will be enjoyed in her next home.  She's an all vinyl and cloth doll so she is child friendly as well.
 
Gotz is known for making extremely high quality dolls so she's a collector grade for sure.
