Kate is the lovely souvenir doll for the 'Wonder of Childhood" A limited edition of 1600 by Anili of Torino Italy, Kate is 14 inches tall and has a molded felt face with blue eyes glancing to the side.  The limbs are felt and the cloth body is stamped Anili Scavini on the back.  The doll has been mothproofed. The Kate Greenaway costume is an exclusive design especially for the UFDC and comes in shades of blue, pink, green, and yellow.  
 
The dress and pantaloons of white organdy are lined and sashed in pastel colored taffeta, with the felt hat and shoes matching the lining color.  Pastel felt flowers decorate the dress, hat, and wicker basket containing potpourri.  The costume is tagged with a gold paper disc with the name Anili and the colorful flowers around the edges.  Each doll comes in a white box decorated with drawings of a doll, felt animals, and flowers, distinctive symbols of Anili.
 
Doll comes with all shown in the picture and is still in the plastic.  Mint condition.
