Wig Description:
Constance is one of our most popular wigs as not only is it luxuriously beautiful waves that cascade down the doll's back, but also that it is made from a super soft realistic fiber that beats out the feel of any other doll wig on the market. Constance is chosen as a wig by reputable doll artists for their high end creations as it reflects the quality of their creations making beautiful dolls. Constance can be styled for Medieval, Mermaid, or Modern looks. The hair is wavy like it was taken out of a braid and has natural ends. It can be paired to make historical dolls or modern dolls depending on how you style your doll's clothing.
Wig Maintenance:
We recommend a spritz of water onto the wig when you remove it from the packaging, and a light brush to separate the waves at the top of the head. Wigs can be washed in mild shampoos such as baby shampoo or using synthetic wig shampoos. Human hair products such as hair sprays or gels or adult shampoos should not be used on synthetic wigs. Wigs should not be brushed when wet. Human heat styling tools such as flat irons, curling, irons etc should be tested on a small area first to make sure you have the correct heat setting if there is no temperature gauge. We recommend having a children's detangler on hand for restoring wigs after they have been handled or played with.

Wig Application:
The old hair from your doll will need to be removed to apply the new wig for the best application. If the doll had a previous wig, this is a matter of prying up the ends around the hairline and pulling back on the wig until it releases from the head. It is ideal that any hair wefts or remaining hair be removed prior to gluing the new wig on. If your doll's hair was previously rooted (holes where the hair came out) you will need to shave your doll's head or cut close to the scalp (buzz cut). We then recommend using pliers to gently pull out each of the hairs so that all that remains are holes in the doll's head prior to gluing the wig over top.
