Grand Prize Winner "Best Photo" by pleasant.poupees
Grand Prize Winner for Fiona by Pleasant.poupees (Abigail) on Instagram.
So many of our group members were impressed by this image and the work that went into it. Abigail shares her behind the scenes:
"This photo was taken at The Queen's Hamlet at the Palace of Versailles - the rustic setting instantly reminded me of the campfire dinner scene shared by Shrek and Fiona in the film. I used this opportunity to practice some of the masking and coloring techniques I've been learning in Lightroom and Photoshop over the past year, which allowed me to transform Felicity's pink birthday dress into Fiona's signature green gown. I was even able to give Felicity's skin a soft green tint, all without any actual dyeing involved. Since I can't sew to save my life, the outfit itself isn't handmade - just creatively reimagined through editing."
Abigail gets to take home Kathilyn's beautiful fairy ensemble as a grand prize winner.

Grand Prize Winner "Best Dressed" by dollietreasures

It was a win by a landslide for the Sleepy Hollow pair as the best dressed dollies for Grand Prize #2 by dollietreasures
"The dolls are inspired by the 1999 movie, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Lemon Bay Doll created the gown, and Love From Lola created the suit. I created the custom dolls."

Winner of "Cutest Photo" by happyag1986

Happyag1986 steals the show with this adorable photo using the MaryEllen cow girl costume on her Melody. The gun is a mini cap gun from an outdoor store and our hats go off for finding mini versions of things out there in the world for dolls!
Happyag1986 will receive a My Life 10-PC Movie Night Play Set as her prize.
Winner "Most Creative" by You've Got Dolls

This is one of those photos that the more you look at it the more you love it just from all the components and the way it all comes together.
From youvegotdolls "The inspiration for Pinocchio is from my daughter, she is in theatre in high school and they are producing it in November. She works on the stage sets and we worked on this photo together. We made the costume from random doll clothes, mostly AG except for the shorts. The neck tie is an AG hair bow, the vest is from a Janie and Jack boy outfit, the white gloves are from Cinderella, etc. The hat is made from paper and bias tape. The string is for restringing a doll that we had on hand. And of course, the CYO AG pixie cut hairstyle made her the perfect Pinocchio."
Youvegotdolls is taking home a My Life 19-PC Pizza Night Play Set as her prize.
Winner of "Best Pose" by dollsdollseverywhere

Sometimes its the simplest pose that becomes the most beautiful if you catch the light just right and your doll lights up with beauty. This is the feeling from this shot by Melissa at dollsdollseverywhere.
Melissa shares "I did not make this costume, it was made by one of our incredible Etsy sellers. I wanted to capture the mystery and outside nature of Snow White's story. She found solace in the forest, so I tried to capture that with this photo."

Closing the Fantasy for Dolls Series
I want to take the time to recognize all the members of this collaboration series: This Little Whimsy, American Doll Dreams, Doll Maker's Notebook, AG Doll Magic, and Kathilyn Creations. All of these highly creative individuals put incredible effort and time into making this Fantasy series fun and exciting with incredible drops and showcasing their creativity.
If you just joined us at the end, all of the issues of this series can be found by clicking on the Doll Forum icon on the top of this email. It has been a personal goal of mine at Bbeauty Dolls to positively showcase the artists in our doll making and collecting community in doing these projects. They are a massive amount of time and energy to pull off, and we hope you've enjoyed them!
For those of you who purchased from any of us during this collaboration, we thank you as it directly helps the artists that put in their time and effort and helps all our small businesses thrive!
It's a Steampunk Weekend November 1 and 2
Our initial Steampunk collection and collectible doll Aveline rolled out earlier in the month and sold out the same day. We got a lot of feedback asking if we were going to create any more, and we couldn't resist!
The collection continues with Aveline's sister Meena who brings to the table her flair for fashion and her hobbies of navigation and invention. We've designed some special collector sets with deluxe accessories and some mix and match separates for you to have fun dressing your doll in different combinations. Outfits will be revealed Saturday and Sunday.
Having attended several Steampunk conventions in my day, my favorite part was seeing all the gadgetry and innovation that complimented the wardrobe. Therefore we will be revealing a special tutorial on how to make your own Steampunk Jet Pack sized for 18" dolls.
Meena herself will be joined by a few friends wearing wardrobe and Meena herself will be available in a finale outfit with extras for purchase on Sunday November 2, 2025.
We hope you enjoy and we are so honored to continue making creative ensembles.

What an amazing selection of photos and prizes! Wonderful work by all involved. Congratulations, Heather, on another successful collaboration/event. We appreciate you! -Ava
