Doll Collaboration Projects

Bbeauty Dolls loves to do collaboration projects with other artists.  As an advocate of women supporting women and of small business, we enjoy coming together within the doll community to support other artists like ourselves that are good at their craft.  Collaboration projects are an exclusive feature to our newsletter subscribers who get first looks at artist collections and limited edition collectible doll pieces.  They also include behind the scenes looks from the artists and often tutorials on crafting items for dolls. Collaborations often involve artists using our products in action which gives readers an inside look on inspiration and creativity in building things that Bbeauty Dolls produces.  Collaborators include pattern designers, photographers, handcrafted clothing designers, doll prop makers, custom doll artists, doll brands, and more.  Basically all the top doll crafters in our community.  If you are interested in participating in a doll collaboration with us, please let us know.

2024 Rococo Historical Series

Participants:

Bbeauty Dolls

Lemon Bay Doll Co

A Stitch in Time's Line

Rachel Kerby Designs

Pemberley Threads

Eighteen Cotton Lane

The Rococo Collaboration featured use of patterns designed by Rachel Kerby Designs and Pemberley Threads as a theme to the series.  Lemon Bay Doll Co, A Stitch in Time's Line, Bbeauty Dolls, and Eighteen Cotton Lane all made gorgeous pieces matching Bbeauty Doll's Rococo line of shoes and incorporated the pattern designs as a feature.  This was the first collaboration series and we didn't do a blog cross post on it, but it was the huge success that inspired collaborations to continue coming down the line.

2025 An Edwardian Summer Historical Series

Participants:

Bbeauty Dolls

Lemon Bay Doll Co

A Stitch in Time's Line

The Edwardian era was the inspiration of this series and revolved around Bbeauty Dolls Edwardian shoe collections to compliment the beautiful historical outfits by all three designers.  This was a mini-collab and was very fun which included a photo contest at the end with a grand prize of a full set of Edwardian boots.  We documented each newsletter release on our blog so that those that missed it could still enjoy the issues long after the fashion sold out.  This series included several pattern designs by Lemon Bay Doll Co and A Stitch in Time's Line as well as tutorials on how to paint shoes, how to make a parasol, and how to make a lace collar.  Links to all the issues as well as the final photo winners are covered in the last issue to archive the series here.
