Robert Tonner is best known as a fashion designer and creator of Tonner Doll Company and Effanbee Doll Company.  His dolls cover a large series of fashion dolls that are a larger scale than popular Mattel Barbies.  Many collectors love the high quality fashions that Robert Tonner has done with his dolls.  Tonner Dolls did go out of business.  Robert Tonner does release a few dolls and fashions with Virtual Doll Convention in select series.  Most of his dolls are retired and outfits can fetch a pretty penny because of the attention to detail and mini tailoring he is famous for on his doll collections.  This is all previously owned dolls which have been inspected and carefully restored so that each doll is in it's best condition.
