Fixing American Girl Blinking Eye Eyelashes from Separation issues

American Girls use a 16mm Blinking eye which has eyelashes attached to the lid. If your doll is missing eyelashes you pretty much need to replace the eye as there's no real way to fill in the gaps. But it could be that your eyelashes just bent funny or separated in storage or from being loved and can be fixed.

With a little bit of water and your fingertips you can fix eyelashes. Watch the video below for a demonstration. With wet fingertips gently wet the lashes and fan and pinch them back and forth until they go back in place. You do not have to do this outside the doll if you are fixing lashes that are already in a doll's eye sockets.
