A Bella Modèle Déposé doll is a vintage collectible toy made by the famous French doll company Poupées Bella during the mid-20th century (1950s to 1970s). The phrase "Modèle Déposé" is French for "registered design," meaning the company protected the specific look of the doll.

History and Features

Maker: Crafted by the Bella company in Perpignan, France, which was one of France's top doll makers back then.

Materials: Made of hard plastic and vinyl, featuring rooted hair with pigtails and sleeping eyes that close when laid down.

Markings: Stamped with "Bella Modèle Déposé" on the back of the neck

Condition: Her dress is a little wrinkled but she has all of her hair in tact, is stung tight and has white bloomers under her dress. She has dark brown hair, bright blue eyes, and a hole in her mouth for drink and wet functions (exit hole in the rear). Also means she can go in the bath, she is hollow but still a good weight because of her vinyl portions. Clean and ready for her new home.
