This set is very cute. The desk is very small measuring 4” h x 4.5” l x 3” w with two tiny hinges for the desk that actually opens. The bench has slat detail and a scrollwork metal frame. The two dolls are a boy and a girl dressed in school outfits and hats as well as stitched boots. They are tagged “Pocket Dolls” San Francisco Made in Japan. The girl doll has a Japanese patent sticker on her back. The dolls are all cloth, they are not wired inside so they do not stand by themselves, meant to be held by a child while playing and using the imagination. They sit and lay down and of course fit in the desk. They have dot-like eyes and no mouth and the heads are larger than the bodies in proportion. They are very detailed in their outfits and historically on point with the era of the desk.

The dolls are Joan Walsh Anglund dolls circa 1966-1970’s era originally.
