Civil War Hoop Skirt - This hoop has four boning channels in white ribbon casings and a white cotton base.  Drawstring closure with white cotton cord. The hoop measures with the bottom circumference at 35".  
 
Note that this undergarment was made to accommodate grand ball gowns and large custom made fashions and designs.  Most sewing patterns and available fashions in this time period have been designed to eliminate the use of undergarments and have smaller skirts. Alterations to sewing patterns to accommodate a larger skirt and more ease in the bodice to allow for the chemise and corset (sold separately)underneath may be necessary to fit the set properly.
