This beautiful Pleasant Company Kirsten Doll has had a custom face-up by Doll Makers Notebook and has been beautifully restored and customized from a pre-loved doll.  The doll has flat neckstrings and no tags on the body and the original squishy vinyl arms and legs.  She was likely an early edition.  She has been fully cleaned and is free of any marks, dyes, or imperfections.
 
Kirsten's hair is not original.  She is wearing a new Bbeauty Dolls Kirsten's Loops Wig in Swedish Blonde.  Her previous wig was in poor shape and she has been restored.  All her limbs have been tightened and she holds poses well.  Her face-up has been done by Doll Makers Notebook to include a realistic skin tone, shading, and detail to make her look elevated and unique.  Her styling has been done as a tribute to the original Kirsten.
 
Kirsten is dressed in one of our limited edition 1 of 2 Edwardian dress sets.  This beautiful Edwardian style dress is designed from Lemon Bay Doll's Pollyanna pattern (with modifications) to add to your historical collection.
 
This is an outfit set and contains many pieces:

The dress is made from a two-tone taffeta made from turquoise and gold interwoven together to form a light aqua shade.  As it moves in the light you can see the hues of aqua and gold you change it's direction.  Even though gold has been interwoven into it, the final color almost looks like it has grey tones in it so we've accented it with silver.
 
The belt is the signature on this dress.  It has a heavily beaded belt containing aqua and silver beads, sequins, elongated pearl beads, and rhinestone centers.  Beading has been done on a piece of silk chiffon and flatted to the taffeta for structure on the dress.  The underdress on this dress is done in white taffeta and edged with dainty white lace.  The overskirt and body of the dress is done in two tone taffeta  and cuffs and collar have been accented in the dainty white lace to match. Dress snaps at the back and opens all the way for easy dressing.  The collar snaps over the top and is a separate piece.
 
The silver locket necklace was hand assembled in our studio and has a length of 9" total when stretched out flat and un-clasped.  It falls on the chest area and is made up of silver chain, silver heart pendant locket that really opens, and a lobster clasp.
 
The aqua boots were hand painted here in our studio to exact match the dress and was mixed with a combination of blues and turquoise and gold to come up with the color.
