This beautiful doll was made as an artistic collaboration between Bbeauty Dolls and @DollMakersNotebook and is one of a kind.  This doll is made from a previously loved American Girl doll and repurposed to be loved once again.  
 
The Head:
 
The head is handpainted by @dollmakersnotebook featuring a pink and green floral motif.  It has a scull like appearance with a pinky lavender around the eyes, flower and shaped motifs.  The mouth has pink lipstick with scars coming out on each side and chin and forehead artistry.  The background of the face has been painted a smokey white to mimic the way make-up looks on a human face.  The face has been sealed with matte sealer to retain it's artistry.  The ears and neck are not painted. Her eyelids have been painted with little details.
 
The hair is our Kanani wig in Light Brown.  A handmade floral crown has been made for her head with yellow lace and cream roses. Her hair has two braids formed on the side of the head that continue around back to expose her earrings.  The earrings are gold hoops with delicate metal flowers and rhinestones that dangle to her shoulders.  (Earring availability will change with each doll made)
 
Body:
The dress is inspired by modern day Catrinas who wear lavish ball gowns with their day of the dead makeup.  This ballgown is covered in embroidered pastel flowers and vines and comes with a hoop skirt.  The sleeves are long and sheer made in matching mesh.  The under layers are done in pinky lavender satin to match the face. The bodice is fully lined in satin and has lace edging on the v-neck.
