This is the cutest camera and so fun to play with. It is sized perfectly to be able to work for multiple doll sizes (see list below, there may be more that fit). The camera itself is black and silver with a vinyl strap that measures about 7". The strap hooks to either side of the camera with rings. There is a small black button at the top of the camera that when pressed you hear the sound of "taking a picture" and light flashes out of the lense of the camera each time it's pressed for the "flash". There is a screen in the back to mimic a real photographer's camera with buttons and dials but it's for decoration only, nothing happens in the back when you press the button. Each camera comes with a battery (there is a little plastic piece you need to pull out first for it to start working) already installed inside it.

Scale:
I find this camera looks appropriately sized for the following dolls: It is too small in scale for an American Girl/Gotz/or other 18" dolls, it would look like a mini camera in their hands not really proportionate. Likewise it is too big for 1/12 scale dolls like Barbie or similar sized dolls. We have not listed Blythe as her eyes are very large and would look out of proportion to the camera lense.
