This dress is inspired by the original party dresses worn by Patti Playpal but done with a little more luxury.
This dress is made with all the bells and whistles for an elegant finish. The first layer of the dress is made from a beautiful soft organdy with a whopping 90" circumference on the skirt. The sleeves are left sheer and we've lined the bodice and skirt in taffeta. The organdy layer has a 3" deep hem as an ode to the original dresses and two floral appliques at the front at an angle. The collar is sheer edged in lace and the sleeves also have an elastic casing.
The second layer is a taffeta lining which lines the bodice and the skirt with a normal hem and under that is a built in petticoat made of tulle to make this a frilly and beautiful party dress. Each dress snaps at the back and has a deep opening to make dressing the doll easy. The dress finishes with a pleated waistband front and two sheer ties that tie into a bow in the back.
Dresses will fit Patti Playpal herself and any Companion Dolls that have the same body measurements. Thinner Companion Dolls may still be able to wear the collection as this dress has bow ties to cinch in the waist.
