Sewing Patterns for Dolls

There are so many fabulous patterns out there for doll sewing. Vintage doll sewing can depend on McCalls, Butterick, and Simplicity for many of the doll sizes and brands from by gone eras. You will usually find these showing up on Etsy, eBay, Mercari, or on any remaining sewing stores that carry patterns. I do find that the really hard to find good patterns end up on Ebay or in private collections, so I always keep an eye out.
For current doll patterns, it may not have all the doll brands, but Pixie Faire https://www.pixiefaire.com/ is a great place to connect with small independent designers. Many of these designers sew for dolls on an ongoing basis and are collectors themselves. Pixie Faire is located in Yuba City, not that far from us in fact and we've been to their workshop. Pixie Faire also offers sewing tutorials and Pixie Packs which are their discovered doll notions and sewing techniques for dolls. Many of our fellow doll companies work with them, so it's a great way to support the small businesses. There are many patterns for American Girl and 14" dolls and many of the current trends in clothing patterns as well as historical patterns.
For Tonner dolls and many fashion related dolls we recommend Designs by Jude, who sells both on Etsy and eBay. We've found many of her patterns to be easy to follow and the fit is very nice, so we often go back to purchase more when making something for the various fashion dolls.
We also are a big supporter of Pemberley Threads who sells on Etsy as well as patterns by Lemon Bay Doll Co and A Stitch in Time's Line.
