This beautiful school desk is scaled for 18" Dolls. This desk is different from the one sold as Samantha's desk by American Girl in that it actually has an opening lid where you can store school supplies inside the desk. There is a spot to hold the pencil and a theoretical ink bottle at the top wood. This desk has been thoroughly checked over and has had all new hardware put in to secure all the pieces. The bottom framing is a heavy scrollwork ironwork in black. It's nicely made and it weighs a whole 5lbs, so it's solid construction.
