This beautiful doll is a restoration on an Allied Eastern brand Companion doll that we are nicknaming "Donna".  She's a 1950-1960's era doll has been lovingly restored and customized and is looking for a new home to call her own.
 
Head:
This doll was originally a medium blonde color and we changed her hair to a dark brown.  Her original hair which was badly damaged was shaved off and she was given a brand new signature wig made by our company in dark brown and styled into a 1950's bob.  The wig has been permanently glued to her head. She has single line arched eye brows, light blue eyes with blinking lashes and also painted lashes around her eyes.  She has full color coral colored blush and matching dark coral lips.  Her face is slender and more oval shaped than pudgy and round so she can pass for older looks.  She is fair skinned with peachy body and legs and a lighter tone for her arms.  Her arm molds are much like that of Patti Playpal with the same hand poses and detailing.
 
Body:
Body is in excellent condition.  Doll has been fully cleaned on the exterior and we removed much of the aged ingrained dirt to leave her surface smooth and clean.  She is a played with doll so she has minor scratches with some scuff marks on her butt and shoulder blades in the back.   She has some small holes in her hand about pin sized, not sure if that was from her mold or if they were made afterwards but they seem pretty uniform. Given that she is over 60 years old, these are very nitpicky marks for her age and she has an excellent overall look and condition.
 
Outfit:
She is dressed in a handmade yellow daisy print cotton dress with matching green hairbow to pick up the stem green in the print on the flowers.  The dress was made in our studio to exactly fit these dolls (not child's clothing) and contains a bottom invisible hem just like the original dresses worn by these dolls.  She finishes off with brand new lace ankle socks and vintage patent black shoes which appear to be made for dolls (not children).  They were the original shoes that she wore and we've cleaned them.  She has rather wide feet, so many of the children's sized shoes were too narrow to fit her. Shoes are in as-is pre-owned condition.  They perfectly fit hersize feet.
