Jane is made from soft fiber hair and done in a historical regency hair style.  This hairstyle consists of parted bangs at the front which hang down into two separate ringlet curls to frame the face.  The rest of the hair is pulled into a bun on the top of the head which otherwise can be hidden under a regency bonnet as the style permits.  There are tiny "baby hair" curls around the base of the hair at the neckline.  The wig has a skin part at the top center front.  This wig is not made to turn or to put the hair part off center.

Special Note: As this wig is delivered bagged, we do recommend some light styling after it is put on the doll.  Once it is on the head, I position the front bangs by gently combing them into place and positioning the ringlets on either side of the head.  A light bit of hairspray may be needed to position the hair permanently or Bobby pins. For the back "baby hairs", a toothbrush or teasing brush can fluff out the hairs or they can be finger twirled. Please note pictures of the wig vary depending on if they are taken in outdoor lighting versus indoor lighting.  Wigs are not meant to be put over existing hair and will not fit if you try to do this.  Doll must be bald with the previous wig removed from the head.  Wig will fit snugly.  To put on the wig correctly line up the front of the wig to the hairline on the front of the doll, hold in place and stretch cap over the head to the back.  Adjust as necessary.
