A Unique Restoration Project So, this was a funny story. A client sent me several pictures of a doll they wanted restored. It looked very much like some 1950s dolls I had worked on, so I had them send it in. The project was simple: restore the doll to reflect the era it was from. My second fantasy princess is Lantana, named for the dainty multi-toned flower of the South, a favorite of bees and butterflies.  Lantana was created from an American Girl doll featuring the charming Jess face mold.  I have given her warm brown eyes and a mystical face repaint.
